What Every Parent Should Know about Internet Safety and Cyber Bullying

With Melissa Bleile, Woodbridge’s Instructional Technology Specialist (K-12)

Your child is a 21st Century Learner and access to technology is all around them. Visit the PWMS library to learn the advantages that the Internet holds for your child and learn what every parent should know about the dangers of social media and strategies for keeping your child safe while texting, YouTubing, and using the most popular forms of social media, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Schedule:

6:00 Open House and Meet and Greet

  • Come test your own knowledge of internet safety and cyber bullying!
  • Ask questions to our Instructional Technology Specialist
  • View and take free resources on how to keep your child safe from Internet predators and cyber bullying

7:00 Presentation on Internet Safety and Cyber Bullying (approx. 20 minutes with time for questions at the end)
