Summer Activities for our Digital Natives

Engage our Digital Natives this SUMMER

Want to help your students avoid the “summer slide” and give parents some great options for summer rainy-day activities?  Communicate the following links with parents and students….

Summer Learning Explorations provides activities, resources, field trip ideas, and tools for all grade levels and content areas.

ReadWriteThink’s Bright Ideas for Summer offers parents suggestions for fun reading and writing activities and a chance to post the child’s work in the Thinkfinity Community for others to enjoy.

Summer is the perfect time to try some Online Science Games that use science skills and knowledge to build a space craft or identify the plants or animals seen during a nature walk.

Parents can share ideas and find answers to their questions through the Thinkfinity Community’s Parents & Families group.

Please pass on this information that can help students return to school in the fall ready to learn and apply their new skills.

Yours in Education,

Melissa Bleile
